About Ellis Signs
Four decades ofmaking an impact.
Founded in 1983 and still making signs in the North East. North East England, nationwide UK projects and projects across the Republic of Ireland where applicable.
Design, manufactureand installationunder one roof.
Ellis Signs was founded by Bernard Ellis in Gateshead in 1983, producing and installing property signage for estate agents before expanding into commercial and retail work.
Craig Robinson acquired the company in 2005, and Alex Robinson later joined as a director. The business subsequently expanded into a purpose-built manufacturing facility of approximately 9,000 sq ft in Blaydon-on-Tyne.
Today the same building houses design, laser cutting, CNC routing, metal fabrication, vinyl, print, assembly and finishing — which is why we can take responsibility for a project from the first sketch to the final fixing.
