What signage is right for my business?
It depends on your location, brand, planning restrictions and how you need to be seen — during the day, at night, or both. A shopfront on a busy high street may need illuminated built-up lettering and a projecting sign, while an office reception may only need a flat-cut logo and glass manifestations. Tell us about the site and we will recommend options.
How long does custom signage take?
Every project is different. Lead time is affected by size, materials, complexity, illumination, design approvals, planning or landlord permissions, installation access and quantity. We give you a realistic programme with your quotation rather than a generic promise.
How much does custom signage cost?
Cost varies with size, material, complexity, illumination, design time, permissions, installation requirements, location and quantity. We quote each project individually — there are no fixed prices for bespoke signage.
Do Ellis Signs install signage?
Yes. We survey, plan access and health and safety, remove existing signage where required and install with accredited teams. Maintenance and repair are also available.
Can Ellis Signs help design the signage?
Yes. Our in-house design team can develop concepts from a brand guideline, an existing logo or a simple brief, and will supply digital visuals for approval before manufacturing begins.
Do you work outside the North East?
Yes. We are based in Blaydon-on-Tyne and work across the North East, on nationwide UK projects, and on projects across the Republic of Ireland where applicable.
